Today is our last day in Seranova and having done the main things we wanted to do in the northern part of Puglia, we decided on another rest day at the villa.
We caught up on washing, chores and holiday admin. The kids enjoyed lying on their beds with their devices and TJ and Sophia loved watching the Singapore Grand Prix and were extremely happy Lando Norris got 2nd.

We al enjoyed some time in the sun and some table tennis battles. We used the day to try and finish off the food we couldn’t take with us – the kids were more than happy to oblige and finish off the gelato!

We went into San Vito dei Normanni to participate in La Passeggiata (the Italian ritual of taking a leisurely stroll in the evening for the purpose of socialising) and to find a place to eat.
We wandered the streets of San Vito dei Normanni up to the Piazza Giovanni Paola II which was clearly the place to be. Church was still going and the old men were all perched on their seats around the Piazza. We sat and people-watched for a while before heading back to LaChiazza in the Piazza Leonardo Leo for our dinner of pizzas and panzerotti.

We tried to find a gelato place after but it was shut so we just headed home.
