A relaxing start to the day as everyone needs some rest before heading home and straight into school/work (well except me – I’m looking forward to some warm days by the pool!).
We went to Town & Country Village, an open-air shopping centre to find somewhere for lunch. It was not quite what we had anticipated but we stumbled across a place called Hop Doddy, a burger bar, which looked good. The burgers were juicy and tasty, the fries according to Sophia, some of the best she’s had and my truffle brussels (brussel sprouts tossed in truffle oil, parmesan and chives) were delicious. The strawberry margarita wasn’t bad either ?.
We did a few last minute pickup of things before heading back to the apartment. Mark did some work and I packed the bags while the kids were on iPads – they didn’t like my suggestion of doing some math for some reason.
