Croissants and shopping … again

This morning Sophia and I got up at 7:30am to join the queue for croissants at Lume (literally across the road from the hotel) ?. When we had arrived on Sunday the bellman at the hotel pointed out this queue across the road and said people often wait more than 2 hours for these croissants so we thought it only right to give them a go ?

They open at 7:30 and we got across to the queue at about 7:35ish. There was a smallish queue but not too bad – it took us about 30 mins to get the croissants including coffees.

Thé croissants were really good, although not sure I’d wait 2 hours for them too often ?.

Once Mark had done his work and everyone was ready we headed out to Chapel Street for a little more shopping and a bite to eat.

We had promised TJ we would take him to a card shop so after lunch we headed back towards town and he got some baseball cards. We then headed north to Highpoint mall to check out Decjuba Kids as you can no longer get it in NZ. Greer found a few things there and we had a look around the mall before picking up a Boost juice (definitely not up to Tank standards) and some cookie dough and heading back to town.

Mark had to do a quick bit of work and in the end we got pizza from Uber Eats for dinner and watched a movie.
