Shopping … again …

Mark had organized to go to lunch with his partner Australian firm, [name], so the kids and I headed out late morning. First stop was Starbucks

We then had a look around a few stops at Melbourne Central and fry kids all bought something (well more accurately I bought it for them!

Greer’s new shoes started to give her blisters so we caught the tram back to the hotel to drop bags and enable her to change shoes before heading back to Melbourne Central for lunch

After lunch we started back with the shopping… and kept shopping until Mark joined us and the. We shopped some more. The kids were over it by the end ??? … they clearly still need a bit more training. They were entertained for a few minutes by a magician in David Jones. The kids were not at all impressed by Marks so called “Ken moment” when he told the staff in Hugo Boss that he would only pay the advertised price and not the additional $10 they tried to add on the bill.

When we finally got back to the hotel, we went back down stairs to the hotel restaurant. Mark told them they could have dessert but only if they were prepared to use the $10 Ken Dollars he had saved earlier … TJ was pretty quick to agree but Sophia not so and he told her she had to therefore pay herself and then proceeded to tell the waitress to issue a separate bill to her for her dessert ? The waitress wasn’t quite sure what to do … There was definitely some dissent among the ranks and some tears…
