We are down to only 2 sleeps (well, really only 1.5 given we’ll have to be up in the middle of the night in order to catch the flight) and the kids have made good progress on their homework (TJ, his geography contour sculpture and Sophia, her science fair project) and they have packed their bags.
This afternoon, the girls and I headed out to a belated birthday celebration with Mum. We took her to High Tea at the George Hotel ?. I had told the girls not to eat and save up until we got there so they could make the most of it. When the plates turned up Sophia asked “is that all we’re getting!????”
Needless to say, there was plenty of food, and even enough for Mum to take a small parcel home.
