This morning we got up and reloaded the car with all our bags before heading to the train station in Albany. Once there, I checked us in and got the kids some food while Mark returned the car to the rental car company. We boarded the train and headed to New York and arrived in Grand Central Station. Mark had pre-arranged to pick up a new camera he had purchased from a camera shop not far from Grand Central, so while he went and did that, the kids and I waited, and waited, and waited at Grand Central for him to return. When he got back, he said there was a great view of the Empire State Building not far from where we were standing, so we went and had a look while he looked after the bags.
We then got a couple of cabs to our accommodation, an apartment not far from Union Square. We got settled and then headed to Whole Foods for dinner.
